We are happy to cover any deductible of up to CHF 200. We believe everyone should be free to choose where their vehicle is repaired.

We are happy to come to your home or any other location you choose. This service is free of charge for you if we can settle directly with your insurer. For customers without comprehensive cover the mobile service costs CHF 50 incl. VAT. All we need is a spot that is as dry or covered as possible.

We first check whether the much cheaper repair is possible. For a repair or glass replacement you receive a transparent, no-obligation quote from us, depending on the vehicle model and the equipment of the glass.

We always check first whether we can repair your windscreen, because a repair is cheaper and faster than a new installation. It depends on the type of damage: size and position of the damage? Is it a chip or a crack? As a rule of thumb: smaller than a two-franc coin, outside the driver's field of vision, at least 10 cm from the edge and no more than two stone chips. Even if the glass only has a small stone chip, a combination of temperature differences, vibrations and material fatigue can eventually cause it to crack and weaken the overall rigidity of the body. The windscreen contributes up to 30 % of the body's rigidity, and the passenger airbag is supported by the windscreen when it deploys.

Usually not: side and rear windows are mostly made of tempered safety glass, which shatters into small pieces when damaged. They are replaced, with emergency glazing as an interim solution if needed. More on this

How long the replacement takes depends on the vehicle type. The more technology is built in (rain/light sensors, head-up display, driver assistance systems), the more complex the replacement. As a rule the replacement takes 60 to 90 minutes, on complex vehicles including calibration also longer. Afterwards the adhesive has to cure, thanks to the latest windscreen adhesive the safe drive-away time is 30 minutes. Within the first 24 hours after the replacement you should not wash the vehicle, not put it on a lift and not park on high kerbs.

Yes, on vehicles with driver assistance systems (lane keeping, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control) calibration after the replacement is mandatory. We do it mobile, statically or dynamically according to manufacturer specification, and document it with a report. More about calibration
